After having crossed the way of Solange and Jean Golovine, Bidat-Dillière, Maurice Béjart, Carolyn Carlson and Peter Goss, Jean Gaudin present in 1978 his first choreographic creation at Bagnolet and decides to create his company the following year.
As of his first parts, two lines mark his work: the attraction
of the places except standards (the waste ground and the factory of Pali-Kao,
the Plâtrerie de Rosny-sous-Bois, les Aliscamps d'Arles, le Studio 77, Musée
d’Art Brut de Lausanne, FRAC Bourgogne…) and his unswerving will to tell
the human beings, with humour, gravity sometimes. Desire which is not lunatic
with time: in 2006, he leaves two months in residence in the Center Arts
Osaka in particular to develop to with it a research with Tomoko Inagaki,
plastician. The following year, he collaborates with Palestinian scenario
writers in the creation of two films made in Ramallah and in relation to
its solo, fluXS.1 (2005). This project is supported by the Markets of Schaerbeeck
within the framework of the festival Masarat/Palestine. Next...
