During several years, Haruka Toda has been formed in modern dance, and very young she launches out in personal projects which she develops in all types of place : traditional scenes but also Buddhist temples, art galleries… She also practises out door dance. Her first creation “radiate heat” date of 1996.
From 2002, she takes part in projects with other artists (creations or workshop), she presents her creations in festivals at Japan and also created events which enable her moreover to invite other artists being able to belong to several disciplines. Her choreographic spectacles are often closed to the borders of visual arts. She collaborates in particular in 2004 in a project of “alive painting”. Her various experiments brought her on several occasions on the international scene.
