Dancer-Interpreter

Ayako Shimizu, born in 1978, begins the training of dance at the age of 4 years old; during 10 years, at the school of the Ballet “Taniguchi” in Tokyo, then 5 years within the Company “Ballet époque”.
She then leaves to London to continue her training in contemporary dance: she integrates first of all the “Legate school of Dance” then “London Studio Center”. She thus begins her career in the United Kingdom in 2001. She is an interpreter in several English companies, dances in musicals and choreography its own parts. Since 2005, she shares her time between Berlin and Japan. She also takes part in several projects in Czech Republic.
